This was a commission for a friend who wanted to give this to his marine biologist girlfriend. He wanted it to be an illustration of the fossil opposed to a live one... So I had some fun making it look like it was a dapper fossil that was just discovered :D

I'm pretty critical of my work and I def think I could have varied the values some more and made the highlights brighter :/ Need to learn to trust myself more with my markers!
